Awesome Con brings together fans, authors, celebrities, artists, and more in one big place to share their love of all things fandom. The weekend is always packed with exciting opportunities for geeks of all ages and 2025 is no exception. Lord of the Rings stars, fan favorites from the Anime voice over world, all the Blue's Clues hosts, and so many more are set to visit the nation's capital for one epic weekend. Here are a few of the highlights you do not want to miss out on at Awesome Con 2025.
Anime Voice Actors
Robbie Daymond, Christina Vee, and more voice actors will be attending Awesome Con 2025. From fun panels to animated photo opps, you do not want to miss out on meeting these talented people.
Saturday April 5: Simon Pegg and Nick Frost Panel
From Shaun of the Dead to Star Wars and Star Trek, these two have done it all. Join this dynamic duo as they talk about their careers, friendship, and geek culture. Stick around for the Q&A—because you know it’s going to be hilarious!
Sunday April 6: The Lord of the Rings Panel with Orlando Bloom, Liv Tyler, and John Rhys-Davies
tep into Middle-earth with Orlando Bloom, Liv Tyler, and John Rhys-Davies as they share behind-the-scenes stories, unforgettable moments, and the legacy of The Lord of the Rings. From elven grace to dwarven wit, this panel is a must for every Tolkien fan.
Blue's Clues
Steve Burns, Donovan “Joe” Patton, and Josh dela Cruz can meet, get autographs, and photos with Blue's Clues hosts. There will also be a special panel as well as a one-of-a-kind Blue's Clues event on Sunday located within Awesome Con Jr!

Anime Yokocho
Returning to the Con is an area dedicated to all things Anime! Fans can expect anime-focused shopping, fan clubs, live art installations, free swag, and performances on the Remix Stage, Plus as mentioned above, there will be meet & greets with popular anime voice actors as well as anime programming in the panel rooms all weekend long!
Awesome Con JR
Geeking out is for the whole family at Awesome Con. One of our favorite spots at the Con is Awesome Con Jr. There, kids will find workshops, costume parades, opportunities to interact with some of their favorite characters and fandoms, and more. This year Awesome Con Jr is ThinkFun and Ravensburger. Kids 3-10 can enjoy the entire weekend for only $20 a ticket!
Book Fair
Whether you are looking for your next read, wanting to connect with others, or excited to meet your favorite authors, Awesome Con Book Fair is the place to be. I have been fortunate enough to meet and speak with several authors whose work I keep proudly displayed on my mega bookshelf. Not only are there opportunities to have your books signed but these authors also conduct panels where they share their best advice with new writers looking to break into this world.

Artist Alley
If you are looking for a new art piece for your space, this is the place to go. No matter your fandom you can find something unique to make those geeky displays pop. I've gotten some great Demon Slayer, The Legend of Zelda, and Captain America pieces for my house.
