Skeleton Crew Episode 7 Easter Eggs & Breakdown
On At Attin, Fara has gotten her hands on a barrier access code. They are going to use it to try and get a signal out to their children.
Nooma is about to say “I have a bad feeling about this” before she is cut off by the safety droids who have caught them with an unauthorized communication device.
The parents are each stunned, but Fara gets away and turns the communicator on.
The Onyx Cinder (dubbed Onyx Today through the official Star Wars stills) is in hyperspace. The kids are excited to go home, all expect Wim.
Brutus' pirate ship makes it to At Attin. He doesn't believe it is the right place because it looks like a toxic maelstrom from space.
Jod tells them they are stupid. It's camouflaged to keep people away from it. SM-33 tells them that according to Tak Rennod the treasure planet is hidden inside an endless storm.
They send Glerb in to scout the planet but he is lost inside the storm. His call sign was Ravager One.
Just before Jod is about to lose his life in the airlock, the kids' appear in the Onyx Cinder. SM-33 recognizes it while the other pirates call it an antique. Jod tells them the ship is the key to getting into At Attin.
Brutus hauls their ship in. The kids trap Brutus in a claw machine and Jod then uses The Force to escape his bindings before killing Brutus.
Jod is Captain Silvo once again. He has the children taken hostage.
The ship intercepts the message from the children's parents. It contains directions on how to get home: find a Republic Emissary. It's an official who knows the secret location of At Attin.
The kids take back control of the Onyx Cinder with some help from SM-33 and the Pirate Code which definitely functions more like guidelines than actual rules. If you know you know.
The pirates send ships after them but the maelstrom is too strong for them. SM-33 reveals that the Onyx Cinder is one of the Mint's own ships which allows it to fly back through the storm.
The ship gets locked into a landing sequence. Jod appears and uses the lightsaber to take off 33's head.
Jod tries to callback to the pirates but it is jammed by the barrier. He threatens the children as he plans on how to take At Attin.
The parents meanwhile have been locked up and are being interrogated by a a safety droid when The Supervisor makes an announcement that an Emissary has arrived for a shipment. That Emissary is actually the Onyx Cinder.
Jod, the children, and the ship are taken straight to The Mint.
Inside The Mint, the Safety Droid tells Jod he must speak to the Supervisor about communicating outside the barrier. He is taken one of the 1,139 vaults full of credits.
If something happens to one of these vaults it will be 1138 a reference to cell number 1138 in A New Hope which itself was a reference to THX-1138 aka George Lucas' cellphone number.
Jod acts like Scrooge McDuck about to swim in his money vault when he sees all the credits.
The kids are reunited with their parents and Jod threatens them with his lightsaber.
