Skeleton Crew Episode 3 Easter Eggs & Breakdown
Back on At Attin, all the parents are waiting for news about their children. A Safety Droid comes to see them.
It was sent by The Supervisor who refuses to do anything to help the children since they left the barrier.
The kids question why Jod Na didn't free himself sooner since he could use The Force. He tells them it is because he didn't have a ship.
Fern and KB don't believe he is a Jedi. Wim does though. Fern tells him there is no treasure on their planet, but Jod Na says that's not what he's after.
“The Force flows through us all.” – Coming from Jod Na this doesn't sound powerful or mysterious it sounds like he is reciting a password.
In order to find At Attin they must visit one of his old friends, who is an expert on star maps.
The kids don't want to leave behind SM-33 though and they convince Jod Na to use his Jedi tricks to get him back.
Everyone on Borgo is looking for Captain Silvo who has escaped from the brig. Captain Silvo is Jod Na for anyone taking notes.
He activates several droids looking for SMEE- SM-33. The first one is CZ-D2-9000, a secretary droid or business communications droid. The next one starts saying The Prince is in danger, I must save the Prince!
Number three is ROGER! He wants to know “Did we win?”
Finally he finds SM-33 but he is spotted by his old cremate Benjar Pranic. He thinks Brutus let Silvo out but he still calls in the guards anyways.
Jod Na makes it back to the Onyx Cinder and they escape Borgo.
While they are in hyperspace, Jod Na looks around the ship and takes a cutlass that was impaled in a skeleton. SM-33 is not a fan.
KB calculated the odds– it’s unlikely Jod is a Jedi.
They land on the friend's planet, far from any town. He's trying to hide the ship and doesn't trust this friend.
Kh’ymm (Alia Shawkat), an owl-like species, is already preparing to have him arrested. She calls him Crimson Jack.
She tells the children there is no map to At Attin because their home has been hidden from the rest of the galaxy. At Attin is one of the Jewels of the Old Republic– planets of wonders kept hidden from their protection. All of them have been destroyed except At Attin, which is only remembered in children's stories, pirate shanties, and rumors.
To help them find it, she asks the children questions like what planets are nearby. They tell her in school we learned about Coruscant and Alderaan. Kh'ymm laughs and asks if they missed the war.
What War?! – mystery deepens…
They tell her that At Attin is part of the Great Work and that they are supposed to stay inside The Barrier.
Ferns head of class badge has symbols on it that catch Kh'ymm's eyes. They are Palmarish numerals on a proto-Republic artifact.
With the authorities closing in to capture him, Crimson Jack steals the coordinates from her and destroys her devices so she can't track down At Attin.
As the children leave with him to get back on their ship, Kh'ymm tells KB to call her if she needs help. She then tells the X-Wing pilots they wouldn't believe where the Onyx Cinder was going if she told them.
