The Acolyte Episode 2 Easter Eggs & Breakdown
In Olega, Mae is trying to get inside the Local Jedi Temple. She pays a child to activate the droid at the door so that she can bypass its system.
Inside the temple, Master Torbin is in a state of meditation known as The Barash Vow. She tries attacking him but she cannot break through the Force power surrounding him. She flees before accomplishing anything.
The Barash Vow is an oath taken by Jedi to completely refrain from all activities related to the Jedi Order as a form of penitence, disengaging from anything but the Force itself. Obi-Wan Kenobi followed the vow during his exile on Tatooine. It was first mentioned and seen in the comic series The High Republic — The Blade 4.
Osha and Jecki start to bond while Yord is still suspicious of Osha and her sister.
Master Sol tells Venestra what they learned on Carlac. Knowing that the Jedi Temple on Olega was attacked while Osha was with Sol, they agree that her sister must be alive. Venestra sends Sol's crew to Olega.
Mae visits an apothecary shop looking for her accomplice Qimir. She wants him to make her a poison using Bunta. Mae reveals that she has two more Jedi to kill after Torbin and one must be done without a weapon to please The Master.
Osha and Sol talk about Mae's survival. He has made peace with what happened but she has not. She still struggles with accepting what she lost.
They arrive on Olega and learn of Mae's first attempt at breaking in. While they are outside, Mae is once again in front of Master Torbin. She tells him she knows why he took the Barash Vow.
Mae wants Torbin to confess his crimes to the Jedi Council or die. He opens his eyes and tells Mae he has been waiting for her. He asks for forgiveness and says they thought they were doing the right thing. He drinks the poison and dies.
Osha finds him, right before the others get there. She can smell the Bunta. It's a plant from their home planet of Brendok. She and Mae used it to hunt with as little girls.
Knowing that Mae is alive and that she was seen going into the apothecary, Sol sends Osha in to pretend to be Mae. They need to find out what Qimir knows. Qimir gives them what they need (a confession that Mae killed Torbin) and they surround him.
He tells them he started out gunrunning for the Hutts now he's just a supplier. He claims to not know who Mae's Master is. “All I know is that she wants revenge on 4 Jedi.” He tells them to wait around because Mae will be back tonight.
Sol wants to face Mae alone but Osha also wants to see her. She is still angry with Mae and Sol worries what that could do to her. Look what revenge has done to Mae.
Mae's list of Jedi includes Masters Indara, Torbin, Kelnacca, and Sol.
Sol confronts Mae, trying to get information out of her. She doesn't know who her Master is, he is hiding his identity.
Mae thought Osha was dead. Osha aims her stun blaster at Mae but is unable to shoot her. She misses on purpose and Mae gets away again.
Angry, Mae confronts Qimir for betraying her to the Jedi. He tells her he can get them out of the city to the place she wants to go- Khofar, a planet in the Outer Rim and the home of the Wookiee Jedi.
On Khofar, 2 Hutt scavengers are trying to strip a ship. Wrong move. This ship belongs to Kelnacca. He easily disarms them with The Force and runs them off.
