Bad Batch Season 3 Episode 10 Easter Eggs & Breakdown
A toddler explores a market with his mother. While her back is turned, a large vase gets broken. Bystanders claim the child threw it but the shopkeeper doesn't believe it. After all, it's too large for a baby to move. The mother scoops him up and leaves.
Several people are calling the child gifted or cursed. An Aqualish goes to a comm and sends out a message for a class 1 bounty hunter, saying there is a target here they might be interested in.
On Tantiss– Emerie wants to become the new chief scientist in order to continue Nala Se’s work. Hemlock agrees to promote her and begins to bring her up to speed on Project Necromancer– the secret project for the Emperor.
He takes her into The Vault– the “specimens” inside are all children with high M-Counts. He tells Emerie, Omega’s blood is the key because it's the only binder compatible with the children’s DNA able to re-create their M-Count levels.
A young girl approaches Emerie and asks what her name is. Before she can answer Hemlock advises her not to get too close to the assets. One of the other children watches as they leave, plotting an escape.
The Bounty Hunter has come for the child. It's none other than Cad Bane. He tells Todo (Seth Green) to run a blood test and confirm if the child has a high M-Count. He does, so they take him.
In The Vault, SP-54 once again introduces herself to Emerie. Her name is Eva and she wants to know what happened to Nala Se and when she will be able to go home. Emerie tells her she will look into it.
Next is SP-32, Jax, the one who looked to be making a plan earlier. He grabs her data pad and tries to make a run for it. Security shuts down the whole area, Commander Scorch stuns him with a blaster.
A horrified Emerie goes to visit Nala Se to ask about the project. She wants to know if they will also be discarded, like she was as a child. Nala Se tells her the Empire will keep them so that it can control them
They both agree that the children don't belong in The Vault but Nala Se did what she had to do to protect Omega. “What will you do Emerie?”
Hemlock tells Emerie a new specimen will be arriving today. Knowing that means a child, she insists on going with Scorch to pick it up.
Hemlock gets a call from Governor Tarkin. Tarkin is questioning the amount of money being spent by Hemlock’s facility. Hemlock brushes him off saying the money is well spent since it's important to the Emperor.
He then contacts the Clone X/Sniper Clone that has been trying to find Omega. The Clone reports that he tracked down the Trandoshan aka Cid and got information about a pirate that has been in contact with Omega. That would be Phee. He is now looking for her.
Scorch and Emerie meet with Cad Bane. She tests the child's blood and asks where he came from. Bane warns her that asking questions like that gives away more than she thinks.
They return to Tantiss and Emerie finds out that Jax is being punished. He is locked in isolation for 2 rotations.
Emerie leaves Omega's homemade Tooka Doll Lula for Ava.
