Awesome Con 2024 Details
Awesome Con brings together fans, authors, celebrities, artists, and more in one big place to share their love of all things fandom. The weekend is always packed with exciting opportunities for geeks of all ages and 2024 is no exception. Big names in the Star Wars universe, Anime voice over world, Breaking Bad and so many more are set to visit the nation's capital for one epic weekend. Here are a few of the highlights you do not want to miss out on at Awesome Con 2024.
Awesome Con Guests
Bryce Papenbrook
Calling all my Attack on Titan, Demon Slayer, Blue Exorcist, and Miraculous fans, the awesome Bryce Papenbrook will be meeting fans and hopefully sitting in on a panel or two at Awesome Con 2024. He will be signing autographs and taking pictures throughout the event. Now the tough part is do I want him to sign my Demon Slayer or Blue Exorcist Manga?

Star Wars
All the way from a galaxy far, far away comes a mega list of Star Wars favorites. Rosario Dawson, Hayden Christensen, Steve Blum, Ming-Na Wen, and Natasha Liu Bordizzo will be appearing throughout the weekend taking part in group photos, signing autographs, and panels.

Josie and The Pussycats Reunion
Talk about a millennial throwback, Josie and the Pussycats are reuniting for the first time at Awesome Con 2024! Almost 23 years after the film, Rosario Dawson, Rachael Leigh Cook and Tara Reid are getting the band back together. Panel details have not been announced yet but we are keeping an eye on the official Awesome Con schedule for updates.
There are also a ton of other celebrity guests coming to the convention this year like Tom Kenny (the voice of SpongeBob), Breaking Bad's Dean Morris, Orlando Jones (American Gods), Yuri Lowenthal (Sony's Spider-Man, Ben 10), and more! See the complete list here.
Awesome Con Panels
Each year, Awesome Con brings it when it comes to panels and Q&A's with their celebrity guests. This year fans can count on Anime, Breaking Bad, Star Wars, and more to grace the stage and deliver exciting moments.
Star Wars
Hayden Christensen and Rosario Dawson will have a duo Main Stage Panel Saturday, March 9. This panel will include both paid and free seating.
Paid seating will go on sale to the general public via Growtix on Wednesday, February 7th at 6:00 PM ET. Both a panel ticket and an Awesome Con badge that is valid for Saturday (such as a Saturday, 3-Day, Premium, or Club Awesome badge) are required for guaranteed seating. Anime Yokocho
New this year to the Con is an area dedicated to all things Anime! Fans can expect anime-focused shopping, fan clubs, live art installations, free swag, and performances on the Remix Stage, Plus as mentioned above, there will be meet & greets with popular anime voice actors as well as anime programming in the panel rooms all weekend long!
Awesome Con JR
Geeking out is for the whole family at Awesome Con. One of our favorite spots at the Con is Awesome Con Jr. There, kids will find workshops, costume parades, opportunities to interact with some of their favorite characters and fandoms, and more. This year Awesome Con Jr is ThinkFun and Ravensburger. Kids 3-10 can enjoy the entire weekend for only $16 a ticket!
Book Fair
Whether you are looking for your next read, wanting to connect with others, or excited to meet your favorite authors, Awesome Con Book Fair is the place to be. I have been fortunate enough to meet and speak with several authors whose work I keep proudly displayed on my mega bookshelf. Not only are there opportunities to have your books signed but these authors also conduct panels where they share their best advice with new writers looking to break into this world.

Artist Alley
If you are looking for a new art piece for your space, this is the place to go. In the past we picked up a few pieces commemorating Demon Slayer, The Legend of Zelda, and Captain America. I cannot wait to see what I can find this year, hoping for something featuring Jujutsu Kaisen, Black Clover, and Tears of the Kingdom.
