Clone Force 99 is starting to rethink their deal with Cid. But before they make a true break, she sends them on a mission to recover cargo. What they don't know is that this cargo is very important to the Emperor. This Clone Wars era Beast is not going to make life easy for them. Bad Batch Season 2 Episode 11 Easter Eggs & Breakdown
A damaged ship (Transport 904) comes out of hyperspace. On board, it seems that everyone is either dead or dying. A Clone Commando is running for his life. He is attacked by an unseen creature and dies.
An Imperial shuttle approaches Tantiss, the facility Nala Se was brought to at the end of Bad Batch Season 1. Dr Royce Hemlock (Jimmi Simpson) exits the ship with Clone Commandos.
Dr. Hemlock goes to visit Nala Se whom he calls Mistress Se. She is a prisoner on Tantiss, since she refused to help the empire with its cloning objectives. He tells her that her research will be used to serve the Emperor’s purpose. She knows what Palpatine is trying to do but refuses to help him.
Hemlock wants the asset aka the creature recovered from the damaged transport.
On The Marauder, the Batch is talking to Cid. They are clearly upset with her after she left them on that mining planet. Cid tells the group about the downed ship (the same one from the beginning). At first they refuse until she agrees to split the profit 50/50. They still discuss severing ties with Cid after this job.
They find the ship, it has crashed onto a planet with a village nearby. Inside, the discover claw marks from the creature. Tech goes to the bridge to turn the power on.
Wrecker finds a High-Volt Electrostaff, the weapon the Clone Commando was using in the beginning.
The ship has a Kaminoan Lab complete with cloning technology on board. Omega doesn't recognize it as the
Tech finds a dying droid on the bridge who repeats danger, danger, danger.
Hiding in the dark is the creature, eating power sources, anything electrical. The Zillo Beast attacks Wrecker, Hunter, and Omega.
First appearing in Star Wars The Clone Wars, the Zillo Beast or The Beast was brought to Coruscant by Supreme Chancellor Palpatine. He wanted to use its indestructible hide to aid the army. However, it got out and attacked the city. The beast was killed but Palpatine ordered it to be cloned for his own purposes.
The Zillo Beast grows and changes as it consumes electricity.
Tech saves Hunter, Wrecker, and Omega but lets the beast out. The Zillo Beast heads to the village. Tech and Omega look for information on the creature while Hunter and Wrecker head to the village to stop the beast.
Omega reveals she had heard rumors of other Kaminoan cloning that was happening off-world. Tech figures out the creature is the Zillo Beast and that they are using it to make armor that can stand up to blaster fire.
Ships sent by Dr. Hemlock arrive and start attacking the Marauder and approach the transport ship. They are able to neutralize the Zillo Beast and take it onto their ship. Clone Commandos take the villagers hostage, no one can know what the Emperor is up to.
Tech believes Kamino was destroyed so the Empire could control cloning. Hunter tells him to send the info to Echo and Rex.
Prime Minister Lama Su is brought to Tantiss to meet with Hemlock. He makes a deal with Hemlock, his freedom in exchange for getting Nala Se to cooperate. He tells Hemlock they need to find a young female clone– Omega.
