Boo to you! Disney Parks Blog today announced in celebration of it being halfway to Halloween that Walt Disney World would experience a special ticketed event. The Disney After Hours Boo Bash is coming this August and while it is not Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party it sounds like it's going to be a boo-tastic event for the family.
Disney After Hours Boo Bash
Halloween at Disney Parks is my favorite time to visit. The decorations, everyone dressing up in costume including the characters, plus the vibe is just right the mix of spooky and fun. I was bummed last year when no parties could happen but this year the Halloween party is making a comeback. It's just going to look a little different. Instead of Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, Disney World will be hosting one of their awesome after hours events, this time it's called Boo Bash. So get your costumes picked out and start making notes on which limited time treats you want because Boo Bash is coming soon!
When is Boo Bash?
Boo Bash will take place on select nights from August 10 through October 31, from 9 p.m. to midnight. Some event nights in August and September however will be from 9:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.

When can I book tickets to Boo Bash?
Tickets for Boo Bash go on sale June 15. Guests of select Walt Disney World Resort hotels will have access to an early purchase window of June 8.
What does a ticket to Boo Bash include?
When you purchase a Boo Bash ticket you will be able to enter Magic Kingdom as early as 7pm of the night of your tickets. You will not need a park ticket or Disney Park Pass theme park reservation to enter.
During the Bash, guests can expect Halloween-themed cavalcades including Mickey’s Happy Halloween Cavalcade featuring Mickey and friends dressed for the occasion. As well as a Disney Villains Halloween Cavalcade, Jack’s Nightmare Cavalcade featuring Jack Skellington, Sally, and Oogie Boogie. Plus my favorite steampunk dragon returns! Maleficent will also make her way around in her full fire-breathing dragon form. I. Cannot. Wait.
Character sightings throughout the park like Miss Carlotta at the Haunted Mansion and Goofy and Chip ‘n’ Dale in their Halloween best. Plus the Cadaver Dans will be out performing on Main Street, U.S.A. As always there will be festive decorations, lighting, music, and so much more! Plus there will be plenty of treat stops which means CANDY!
Like other After Hours events, Boo Bash will offer complimentary snacks such as ice cream novelties and popcorn, along with select beverages. I may have eaten one or three Mickey Ice Cream Bars during Villains After Hours. Specialty food and drinks will also be available for purchase.
If you know me you know I love a good photo opp. PhotoPass photographers will be available to capture magical and spooky shots throughout the night.
I went to the Villains After Hours event and one of the best things about it is the low wait times for more than 20 attractions throughout Magic Kingdom. So you can enjoy Haunted Mansion, Space Mountain, Pirates of the Caribbean, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and more without waiting in super long lines.
How much is Boo Bash?
Boo Bash Tickets start at $129 – $139, plus tax for August/September nights and $159 – $169, plus tax for October nights. Halloween will be $199, plus tax. Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members can take advantage of a $10 discount for event nights in August and September.
