How to Host a New Years Brunch
Brunch is my favorite meal of the day. My girlfriends and I get together at least once a month to brunch. And just think, if you do stay up super late to ring in the new year, brunch will be the perfect time to begin recovering from said late night.
Looking to host the best New Year’s brunch on the block? Lucky for us all my party planning BFF Oriental Trading Company has everything we need. All you need to do is click add to cart and then checkout, you don't even need to change out of your pajamas to do it.
Oriental Trading offers a massive assortment of 2020 New Year's Eve Party Supplies and Decorations to fit any theme and budget. Like for my brunch, I wanted to take the classic New Year's Eve colors and give them a little pop.
New Year's Brunch Decor and Accessories
Thanks to Oriental Trading's New Year's section getting all the decor and accessories for a party is simple. They have everything you need from party hats and noise makers to tableware and serving dishes.
The New Year's Eve Party Pack is the ideal all-in-one box that includes hats, noise makers, headbands, and more! Purchase the 25 guest pack or more depending on your needs.
For my pop of color this year, I went with Rose Gold. It is classic in its own right and beautiful. For the tables I used Rose Gold Table Runners over Black Tablecloths. For extra sparkle, I added Diamond Table Tossers, Pink Diamond Table Tossers, and Black Acrylic Gems.
The main dining room table also included Gold Starburst centerpieces. Around the house we hung the New Year's Eve Cutouts which are large festive signs, as well as the Get Lit Party Banner where the food is and New Year's Eve Diamond Garland by all those fun accessories!
New Year's Brunch Menu
Every brunch has to have the basics, something to drink, breakfast type foods, and of course desserts. It is a party after all!
Keep it simple, your girlfriends are there to have a great time and possibly dish on how their night ended. Mimosas are a must. For a non-alcoholic try using sparkling water instead of champagne. I like to designate someone to be the bartender, we all have that one friend who is better at mixing drinks than the rest.
For this brunch I went with yogurt parfaits in mini champagne appetizer glasses. They compliment the Rose Gold Champagne Flutes I used for the mimosas. Both of these add height and dimension to your food table.
In the center are all the treats. From cookies to tea biscuits I made sure my guests had plenty to sink their sweet teeth into. Don't forget the New Year's napkins.
New Year's Brunch Photo Booth
It is not a party without a Photo Booth. I mean come on! Everyone loves an excuse to get dressed up and act a little extra. Any party I throw includes one, themed to the event. You do not need to overthink this one, just add my picks to your online order.
New Year's photo booth checklist:
Mini Champagne Confetti Poppers pack a lot of confetti, trust me! They also make the perfect boomerang for Instagram.
Glass Jar Set– I used these to hold photo props and paper for everyone to write there New Year's goals on. This set is versatile and can be used for lots of various party ideas, like a candy bar, decorative vases, and more.
