New Dumbo Trailer, Poster and Trailer Reaction

Disney debuted the new Dumbo trailer last night during the CMAs and wow. Spoiler alert, you might want to grab some tissues if you haven't watched this yet. It's visually stunning, with little Dumbo playing with Milly and Joe sure to make you smile. But this trailer doesn't shy away from the heart breaking aspects of Dumbo. Yeah, I cried. Like, a lot.

Circus owner Max Medici (Danny DeVito) enlists former star Holt Farrier (Colin Farrell) and his children Milly (Nico Parker) and Joe (Finley Hobbins) to care for a newborn elephant whose oversized ears make him a laughing stock in an already struggling circus.

But when they discover that Dumbo can fly, the circus makes an incredible comeback, attracting persuasive entrepreneur, aka Shady McShaderson, V.A. Vandevere (Michael Keaton), who recruits Dumbo for his newest, larger-than-life entertainment venture, Dreamland. Doesn't he just look like a slime ball?

Dumbo soars to new heights alongside a charming and spectacular aerial artist, Colette Marchant (Eva Green), until Holt learns that beneath its shiny veneer, Dreamland is full of dark secrets. The trailer definitely shows some of the shift in feelings about Dreamland and Vandevere, with Colin Farrell's character Holt Farrier having lost an arm at some point during the film.

I think it's safe to say, this one is going to be a rollercoaster. So I'm going to leave you with this adorable picture of Dumbo because he is just so dang cute!
