I spent the last weekend with the team of Moms Meet at the Gaylord here in Washington DC. This was my first time attending their yearly summit and I was happy to have the opportunity to join them. How did it go? Read on for my WOW Summit 2016 Recap!
WOW Summit is not like other conferences I attended. It is bloggers only on Friday and opens up to moms and parents to attend Saturday. Friday, being devoted to bloggers, featured sessions about growing your business. I learned a lot from Dan and Rachel of Blogging Concentrated. Their sessions were great for those of us who have been doing this awhile and want to refresh or revamp our business. We also had an opportunity to meet with the brands during a Speed Dating session. It was pretty hectic but gave everyone the opportunity to meet reps for each brand.
Thank goodness for this station and the organic half and half!
Saturday, the sessions focused on a variety of topics. I like that some of the sessions repeated so I didn't feel like I had to miss out on a great presentation. A few times throughout the day, speakers in the ballroom addressed us all, speaking about motherhood and other topics concerning parents. Scattered throughout the day were fun giveaways, including some great gift baskets from the brands! No I didn't win, but I still had fun.
We also visited with the brands during the Expo time. There were brands there I had never heard of and a few I use and love. Since WOW Summit is from Moms Meet, you know the brands represented are Moms Meet approved.
My favorite brand to meet with was National Geographic since my kids love their books!
WOW Summit is a great event for Moms Meets moms and bloggers. Also if you are new to the blogging world and looking for a small conference to attend, I would recommend this one. It is just the right size not to feel overwhelmed!
Connect with Moms Meet to find out where WOW Summit will happen next year and to apply to be a Moms Meet blogger! Maybe I will see you next year!
I am a Moms Meet ambassador and have been provided with a ticket into this conference in exchange for this post. All opinions are my own.
