Everyday is a chance to do something good for someone else. Whether it is a family member, friend, or stranger you can leave footprints in the hearts and minds of those people. Those footprints will remind them they aren't alone, someone cares, and maybe they will in turn spread the good.

I strive to make a difference everyday. Sometimes it is just having a smile for someone who looks like they need it, or paying for someone else's coffee when I get mine. My grandmother is the one who inspired me to do good. To be the change I wish to see in the world. That is why I wanted to share with you about the 100 Good Deeds Bracelet available at Macys.com.
100 Good Deeds is not just a phrase, it is a lifestyle. These bracelets not only inspire simple acts of kindness, but also transforms communities by empowering the vulnerable women around the world who craft the bracelets by hand.
You can find these beautiful bracelets at Macys.com for just $30 each in a variety of colors.
Each bracelet is made of an adjustable nylon braided cord with 100 glass beads. Once you pick your favorite color (or 3!) wrap it around your wrist three times. Each time you do a good deed, move the rubber ring one bead close to the “1GD” button. Not only will you be reminded to do a good deed but just buying the bracelet itself is a good deed. Each bracelet is made by a vulnerable woman in Africa, Haiti, India, Bali, Indonesia, or the United States, many who are HIV+. This project gives the women a way to support their families through their earnings.
Mine was handmade in Uganda by Nabasa Ester. Thank you Nabasa!
I thought a long time about who I would gift with The 100 Good Deed Bracelet. After praying about it, a certain associate at one of our favorite retail stores came to mind. She is always going above and beyond not just for us the regulars, but for anyone that walks through the doors. She wasn't working the day we dropped off the bracelet, but I left it with a note, signed by the kiddos and myself. I hope that when she saw it, it put a smile on her face like she always puts a smile on ours.
Gifting these beautiful bracelets is kind of addicting. I know I will be picking more up at Macys.com and I hope you will too! In the meantime, look for ways you can do a good deed. Maybe buy someone's drink, pay a single mom's rent, or bless a local women's shelter with some much needed necessities.
One reader will win a 100 Good Deeds Bracelet of their own to keep or to give to the do-gooder in their life!
