My girl and I were thrilled to receive one of the brand new American Girl building sets! These new sets take some of the popular Girl of the Year characters, including Grace, Isabelle, Saige, Mckenna, and Nicki, and bring them to life in an awesome way. You can reenact your favorite moments from their stories or create all new adventures!
We are excited to share Nicki's Horse Stables with you. Girl of the Year Nicki appreciates the great outdoors, and we can too by building her stable and a jump for her horse Jackson.
To get started, we very carefully opened each packet of bricks and arranged them on the table by type and color. The instruction manual is big and easy enough to follow. I was only asked to help a few times, other than that “Mommy I got it!”
Nicki's set (and the others), comes with a multi-page booklet that includes stories, activities, and step-by-step building instructions. My daughter liked that the instructions show the brick placement using different colors, it was especially helpful for more tricky parts!
Her set comes with 3 figures: Nicki including 2 hair attachments, Sprocket the dog, and Jackson the horse. Along with the stable, your daughter can build a garden area to grow Jackson's favorite vegetables, a dog house for Sprocket, decorate the stable with ribbons, a stable blanket, and more! There is even a little stand for Nicki.

Sounds cute for little girls, but I have all boys so there are no American Girl things in my house 🙂

Those are adorable! American Girl makes the best toys – and dolls, of course 🙂

I didn’t know Mega Bloks had an American Girl series. These toys look like something that Santa may be leaving for my daughter under the Christmas Tree next December.

My little one loves American Girls but she’s not into these as yet, or maybe I should say I probably won’t get it for her since she’s not at the age where she picks up after herself. She also would lose the pieces and then we’ll have a crying fit when she can’t find them. When she’s older I may have to get her a set.

Love it! It’s sooo cute! I wish I had a little girl!

Very cool! I didn’t realize that they made blocks, too! That must be new.
