I hate to bring this up but Back to School is coming. It is everywhere, so we might as well face it. Getting back to school ready means supplies, clothes, and hair cuts. So if we have to get ready, why not have some fun and do a good deed too? At Cartoon Cuts the kids will enjoy the experience of getting their haircut and you can help build schools for children in developing countries!
Join Cartoon Cuts this Thursday August 6, 2015 from 10am to 8pm, for a scavenger hunt! Pencil cases filled with pencils, combs, gift cards, free haircut cards, and other freebies will be hidden around the mall. Find your local Cartoon Cuts here.
For the clues follow Cartoon Cuts on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. They will be posting clues throughout the day on where you can catch a case!
For this event, Cartoon Cuts has partnered with Pencils of Promise (PoP), a for-purpose organization that builds schools in developing countries. For every pencil case champ that shares their experience on social media with the hashtag #RaceForTheCase, Cartoon Cuts will donate $1 to PoP! The money donated will go toward their $25,000 goal to build a school in Guatemala. Learn more about the Race for the Case event here.
In addition to this fun event, throughout the month of August, Cartoon Cuts customers will be able to purchase pencils for $1.00 each. The proceeds of which will go to PoP toward building the new school in Guatemala.
Can’t make it on Thursday? Cartoon Cuts has a donation page set up through PoP, so you can still help raise funds for the school! Click here for their donation page.
