I was chosen to host a Mommy Party from Mom Select featuring the new LeapFrog LeapBands and Clif Kid ZBars. I received the products for the purpose of the party. All opinions are my own.
One of the many reasons I love LeapFrog is their commitment to learning and fun. No matter the product, the kids have a blast, learn something new, and are engaged enough to keep going back for more. The all new LeapBands are no exception. They take the learning and play to new levels!
My kids could not wait for me to get the new LeapFrog LeapBands out of the boxes so they could start playing. The bands were easy enough to set up, and I could upload the kiddos' existing LeapFrog profiles onto them. The hardest part for the kids was picking which pet, what color the pet will be, and the all important name!
The LeapBands are available in three colors- green, blue, and pink, contain rechargeable batteries, and hi-resolution screens. Kids are challenged to get moving with 50 different activities and Parents can add more through the computer. Your digital pets need to be taken care of, fed, bathed, and exercised. Extend the fun with your pet on your LeapPad Ultra, smartphone, or tablet with a free companion app!
Mommy wanted to play too! All the big kids at the party, laughed and reminisced about Tamagotchi. Do you remember those? We shared our stories about the struggle to keep your pet alive while you were forced to go to school! I am happy to say your LeapBand pets are not as difficult to take care of, so there will not be any traumatizing of the children.

Kids these days pick up electronic anything in a snap. It wasn't long before they were off and running, hopping, swimming, dancing, and tagging!
The LeapBands not only get your child active but they give the user their very own pet. Your child can care for their fitness pet, similarly to the pet play on the LeapPad. This guy wanted to make sure the Dragon was well fed before he ran around!
Clif Kid ZBars joined in the fun to help the kids refuel and have the energy to keep up with their pets! These bars are organic baked goodness made with special blend of carbs, fiber, protein, and fat designed to maintain your child's energy level.
You can make your own Clif Kid ZBar Parfaits at home. Pick your favorite flavor, and whatever other toppings you like in your yogurt. I used organic kid yogurt for these. The bars were a hit with the kids and adults alike. I may or may not have had a piece of each one…especially the chocolate mint…
Bottom Line: All the kids LOVED the new LeapBands! They even politely suggested to their moms and dads that these would make great Christmas gifts.
