This week I prepare for my first official 5K race! Ever since I finished the official training (couch to 5K) I slacked off a bit. Ok a lot in comparison to how hard I was working before. Oops! In an effort to not go back to square one with this whole running thing, I will run 2x this week before the big race on Sunday. Additionally, I will must drink more water this week. I felt very dehydrated and started to cramp up immediately when I ran last week. Again, oops…
I have been holding pretty steady on the whole weight loss thing. Although it always sucks not to see the number go down, I know that staying the same is a lot better than going up. My goal is still to lose another 20lbs or so and maybe another pant size. Honestly though I do not think I could get much smaller due to my bone structure. Sometimes we just have to be honest with ourselves ladies!
On Mamavation TV tonight Pete Cohen will be sharing with everyone about how to break old bad habits and getting fit, all with a British accent. Join us! One of my bad habits is snacking. The way I avoid it is not to buy snack food. If it's in the house I will eat it.
What is your bad habit and how do you fight it?

I feel like I definately have a ‘happy weight’ that my body does not like to drop below… Which is frustrating!… I’m not quite there yet, but when I get there I am going to switch focus from losing weigh to lifting weights…. Hopefully the focus on getting stronger rather than getting smaller will help me push past the ‘happy weight’
Hope you have a great week!!
