Happy Monday ladies! Wow never thought I would say Happy and Monday in the same sentence. Must be the endorphin release of my run this morning!
I am training for my first ever 5K (Read more about Color Me Rad) and just started week 2 of the couch to 5K program. So far I'm feeling good and not too sore but that could all change after Zumba tonight. My water intake has been on par and although I feel like I'm drinking an ocean of water it has helped!
Scale Victory: I have lost 4lbs!! 4 more to go until I am back to where I left off when my husband started traveling for work. Then the real weight loss journey begins!
Lent starts this week and I have been praying about what I am giving up. Starbucks is always one thing (because I LOVE it too much) and I am thinking I will give up sweets. I wish I could give up these extra pounds but I know that's not possible. Sweets are hard for me during certain times *wink wink* so I know I will be having an internal battle eventually! Valentine's Day is also this week. Not my favorite day of the year, call me the Grinch I don't mind. I will do it up and make it special for my kids but other than that I will be at the gym.
I hope you all have an amazing week! Look for my post later this week about Running for Dummies 😉
How was your week? Did you meet your goals?

You will LOVE the Color Me Rad run!! (I recently did the Graffiti Run and it’s essentially the same.)
I can’t give up chocolate completely, I keep a small bag of peanut butter M&Ms or Rolos and scatter them around in different places so when I need chocolate, I can have a small taste!
Keep up the good work!

Congrats on the weight loss. I’m right there with you on the sweets overload during, ahem, certain times.
Good luck.

I love C25k! It helped get me off my butt last lent. You can totally do it.

Congrats on the weight loss and the water intake. It’s so hard to drink water ALL THE TIME!! I envy you for keeping with it.
