Hello October! The weather is getting cooler (finally) and wow I have been busy. In the past week I worked, worked out, had a brand party, and chaperoned 2 field trips. The first field trip was to a colonial farm where my baby girl and I learned how to make candles, spin yarn, and make corn meal. It further solidified in my mind, I would not have survived the 1700/1800s. This girl needs AC and Starbucks.
Field trip number 2 was to the pumpkin patch. The weather was 80, sunny, and humid, so not very pumpkin patch-y. Baby boy enjoyed the huge slides, pirate ships, wagon rides, and feeding the animals. Despite the not so ideal weather, I am super thankful to be able to go on their field trips with them. It meant a lot to them and I love experiencing new things with them!
As if that wasn't enough excitement in one week, Fright Night has started. Fright Night is our Church's haunted trail. For those who worked the event this past weekend, they know what I mean when I say: I could have titled this post Mamavation Monday, DEAD TIRED! One good thing about that is I am definitely hitting my step goal of 12,000 a day when I am there.
Unfortunately, I did not make it to the gym 3 days this week, only 1 but I got plenty of exercise on the field trips and on the trail. This week, I want to try to get to the gym 3 days and continue to hit my step goal. At the moment though, I want to curl up in a ball and go to sleep!
What are your goals for the week?
