Do your kids love to copy their peers? I know mine do much to my dismay a lot of the time! In this case though I want my kids to imitate what they see. Copy-kids is a fun new way to help encourage your children to eat healthy. Eating right is something very near and dear to my heart. I try to feed my family the clean way, and fresh produce is a huge part of that. Fortunately, both my children love to eat their fruit and veggies (as long as it is the kind they like). My son will try new things and hardly ever turns down any type of food. However, my daughter can be a picky little bird. We tried a zucchini pasta dish the other night and although she did eat, it was definitely begrudgingly.
Improving children's diets seems to be on everyone's minds today. From the startling statistics that 1 in 5 children are obese to what they are served for school lunch, parents want to make a change. I believe healthy eating and good habits are best learned a a young age. Laying a strong foundation is key and Copy-Kids is a great help in doing just that.

I took the advice about stocking up on the fruits and veggies beforehand. Good thing I did because they wanted to eat them for lunch!
The video is recommended for children from age 6months to 5years. On the menu screen we were able to choose which fruit or veggie we wanted to view. The kids loved taking turns picking which one we would watch. Each segment lasts 6-8 minutes, perfect time frame for short attention spans. The DVD also includes extras like outtakes of the children eating and a talk with Dr. Jay Gordon on child nutrition. I loved listening to my daughter and her friend discussing the video like the little grownups. My son would laugh and yell out yummy!
Here is what the kids had to say about Copy-Kids:
“It's cool mommy that the kids eat all the fruit and veggies. They don't even make faces!”
“Oooo they are eating some of my favorite foods!”
“They are eating healthy like you tell us to.”
“Everything looks so good to eat.”
“Can we have all of those for lunch? Please!!”
“Yummy!! Nom nom nom!”
Afterwards, my daughter, my picky little princess, declared she wanted to eat peppers and raw broccoli. I was skeptical that she would eat them but she did. Believe me, I have tried everything else under the sun to get her to eat those. Seeing other kids eat their veggies and enjoy them I think really did the trick. Thanks Copy-Kids for making eating healthy fun!

I give my baby only organic foods (pureed at this stage). That way she stays clear of preservatives, pesticides, and other chemicals that aren’t good for her body.
