So last week I wrote about trying to make a comeback, of course it made me a bullseye for life's circumstances. This past week was not any better then the weeks before, in fact on certain days it was worse. However, I am feeling refreshed and ready to restart my life. This verse came to mind yesterday and it really helped me to stop focusing on the storm of life.
Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.– Philippians 4:6
Honestly, worrying is not making anything better, it's making it worse. So new tactic: I'm going to stop worrying and refocus my energy on myself and getting back into a healthier routine. And as that verse says be thankful, focusing on the good things in my life pushes away all the sad, dark thoughts. One thing I am thankful for is my best friend. She is not only is willing to listen to my problems but tries to help. She has offered to come stay with my kids so I can make the gym this week. I know that part of my mood change has been the lack of gym time, and I can't tell you how excited I am to get back to my class tomorrow! It's also perfect that the 2 Week Challenge begins tomorrow. Now I will have a regimented routine to follow and people to be accountable too.
So here's to pushing restart and getting on with life!

Oh, too true! Whenever I feel on top of the world or ready and prepared life reminds me to be humble, work hard and suck -it-up. 😉
You are a constant inspiration. You will get out there. 2 kids makes for a crazy/wonderful life. Hope you have a fabulous week with more time to enjoy your runs, healthy kiddos and sunny skies.

Did I mention I really need more sleep! Sorry, confused this response with another post. Just strike the two kiddos thing off.
Yes, I think we could all use a nice restart button from time to time. Just keep working hard and tackle things differently for different outcomes. The 2 week challenge is a great chance to mix it up and tackle things differently. I am looking forward to tweeting with you!

I love this post. Your scripture verse is eye opening. Its easy to lose focus on the positives but taking time to be thankful and ask for help are key.
Thank goodness for amazing friends! Hope things calm down for you this week.

That is a great verse to remember and a great life motto. Today has enough troubles of its own – just worry about what YOU can do and leave everything else up to God. Good luck this week!
