This weeks blogging carnival question: How does your family support your weight loss efforts?
I have to say I'm pretty blessed. My kids are little and they think working out with mommy is the greatest thing ever! Even though my husband is genetically blessed in the metabolism department, he helps me by not eating in front of me. Also, he watches our kids at night and gets them ready for bed so I can go to the gym. We eat healthy and now that I've shown him all the reasons why we need to, he's willing to spend the extra money.
Not everyone is as fortunate as I am, I've seen friends who do not have the support system I do. It is so important to have your family and friends behind you. They are the best motivation ever! Ladies, if you know someone who is trying to lose weight, maintain, or tone up take a few minutes and reach out to them. Your words can make the journey a little easier! If you are reading this and haven't check out Mamavation yet, please do so! It's a wonderful community of women who are there to do just that; be your support system and encouragement.

Great job on the 2 week challenge. They are a great way to stay focused.
I hear you on the hubby’s metabolism. My husband is happy to eat healthy, but since he has a physically demanding job he has to add in a mad amount of calories. Glad to hear you have such great support. Keep it up and have a great week.

Aren’t kids the best?
Thanks for stopping by via Mamavation, and good luck during week 2 of the 2 Week Challenge!

That is awesome that your husband is very supportive. My husband also has a high metabolism, he eats what I make and keeps his “extras” in his car or locker at work. (Well at least for the month that he was home)
