I just completed my first 2 Week Challenge!! Honestly, I didn't think it would be that hard, after all I workout already and eat healthy. I was wrong! I was sore, tired, and definitely grunted my way through the planks. Finding time to fit in the extra workouts made me really scrutinize my “me-time” and how I could better be using it! I tried to twit pic every meal/snack but I did miss quite a few. I would be so hungry I would devour my meal, then think oops I was suppose to take a picture of it! But I promise I ate healthy and didn't cheat!
Here are my measurements:
*Starting: Weight: 172 Waist: 33 Hips: 38 Thighs 25
*Ending: Weight: 169 Waist: 31 Hips: 37 Thighs: 23 1/2
Congrats to everyone who finished with me! I'm looking forward to reading your posts.
This weeks blogging carnival question is: What is your biggest achievement of the year?
Wow, I really have to think about that. I survived sending my first born to kindergarten, I only cried a little a lot. My son who was a late talker is now chatting away, thanks to some one on one time with mommy! I re-started blogging and it's been greater then I could have expected.
The biggest achievement though is the overall health of my family. My husband and I joined a gym, committing to going at least 3 days a week. I have taught my children about what you put in your mouth and the exercise you get keeps you healthy or makes you sick. We have switched over to eating 100% natural and organic. That alone has helped me with my migraines and others in the house with digestive problems. I'm continuing to educate myself on organic/natural eating, and also natural cleaners, medicines, etc. I have lost weight, toned up, and feel better about myself. After Christmas I'm going to have to do some major shopping for smaller jeans! In the coming year I would love to see myself at my goal weight, but if I don't make it I know I will do my best to get there!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
