New Years means a few things to people; parties, Dick Clark, black eyed peas (if you're southern), and resolutions. Dun dun dun! Resolution- the act of resolving or determining upon an action or course of action, method, procedure, etc. In the past I've made them and broke them. Or I don't make any and end up accomplishing something I resolved to do in previous years. In 2012 I plan on working to become a better me: woman, wife, mother, friend, and entrepreneur. I want to continue to strive to be healthy mentally, physically, and spiritually. No matter what comes, I want to always see the blessings around me and to spread love to those around me.
Here are some of my friends' resolutions (or reason for not having them) for 2012:
“I never really make resolutions. Less pressure!”
“Continue my daily devotionals, get more involved in Church, and lose 50 pounds.”
“My 2012 resolution is to learn how to sew! I'm dying to make my babies some cute outfits and keepsakes…and to no longer pay triple the price for them on etsy, lol”
“Journal daily, blog once a week, get back into shape, and eat healthier”
“Lol no I don't really do resolutions. Because I always felt like I can have the determination to do something at anytime of the year.”
“Better husband and father, stay in shape, and read the Bible more”
“To be happier, more successful, and more available to my friends. Laugh more, depressed or upset less.”
“This year my resolution will be to simply re-energize what I always strive for, which is to be healthy, strengthening and mature both spiritually and physically.”
“Finish my associates and get into a healthy workout schedule.”
What about you? Are you pro-resolution or against them. If you have some what are you going to do to ensure you accomplish them? No matter what you decide to do, I wish you the best in the coming year!
